Will Electronic Arts release a Rugby 2010?
Unfortunately as of March 2010 there is still no word of the release of a new rugby game by EA.
There is a petition online for the new rugby game but i doubt EA will, hopefully EA develops one.

The Good News on Rugby 2011
The rugby world cup is coming soon and usually that means a interest spike in Rugby and a good theme for the game (world cup). Hopefully EA pay’s attention and releases Rugby 2010, 2011 soon.

HB Studios were the fellas that made Rugby 05, 06 and 08, and they’re currently at work at like, 8 titles. Hopefully one of them is rugby

The rugby section of EA get so little funding that they can only afford to bring out a rugby game every second year.
So we had 06, 08 and we’ll have 010, 012, 014 etc.

just like everybody else ive been waiting for the new rugby game ever since 2009 and speak for more than half of the people in my neighborhood enjoyed rugby 08 can anyone give us further update of release dates for the new rugby game…i think the feature of playin online would be great given the fact i have whooped everybody here who have said that were the greatest rugby 08 player and the idea of seeking players outside geographical area is fascinating in itself but could give players opportunity to test themselves with some of the best in the world..
I am stuck playing my 2006 rugby game because i don’t want to get another one until a 2011 game comes out. I am going to the rugby world cup this year in Sep and want to see a new game come out…Hurry up for heavens sake.
will there be super 15 and ITM cup and european rugby teams like Toulon
Just checked that link to hb studios and they say they are hard at work at 6 games INCLUDING RUGBY 2012!! happy days

There are two Rugby Games in development on is from the creators of all those rugby league games from New Zealand and another company is making Rugby 2011 if you go to therugbyforum.com you can see the progress as they have a section for questions, and asking what the players want.

The game graphics look SO much better, however…
The game play is pretty much exactly the same as 08. The way tackles are made etc are identical, the kicking style is still the 3 button touch. They havent up-graded those things at all which is dissapointing, i mean the likes of NFL has such relistic player movements. I dont understand why Rugby cant use the same engine???
And the worst part is that the All Blacks and the Auzzies havent been licenced… So the HOST NATION will not be licenced in the game… pretty Sucky if you ask me…
However the Graphics and player attributes looks to be very realistic.
Dont think i’m gonna be in a rush to get this one though unfortunately… Sorry for me HB studio’s has dissapointed for 2 rugby games running now… 08 was a let down… seems like 11 will be a let down too…

only one question… what the hell have HB studios done for 4 years!?!? its exactly the same? as rugby 08, just made HD, ps3 compatible and less teams!!!? wth.. What about PC users?! Not all of us can afford PS3 !!
Maybe they should put more teams,more skill,moves. If they have the mode ‘Become A Legend’ like PES does,it will be more fun
